I just finished designing an album for Patty and Tim made from their engagement photos. They will be getting married on May 15th next year. It's nice to have a little bit of down time to do some more design work, now that my busy wedding season is starting to slow down. Watch for more albums coming soon! Enjoy!
On Saturday I had the privilege of shooting a wedding with Jerome Braga from Studio 1923 in Manhattan. The weather was perfect, the bride and groom were great, and the location was to die for! You know that show on TLC, "Say Yes To The Dress"? Well Tricia had a woman from that store, Klienfeld Bridal, following her around all day fussing with her dress. That was a first for me. The Reception was held at Bridgewaters, which is located in South Street Seaport, and has the most amazing views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the New York Harbor, and the Wall Street skyline. Enjoy the photos:
So I just stumbled across this amazing video of a couple "trashing their dress". The company that shot this is called StillMotion, and they are described as: A boutique style photography + cinematography studio based in Mississauga, ON. Check out the video here, it is the best I have seen yet. I am so inspired right now, any volunteers?
Congratulations on your engagement Carly and Mike. Josh and I are super excited to photograph your wedding on May 22, 2009. They are getting married at Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls, NY. Looking forward to shooting your engagement photos soon!
On Sunday Josh and I photographed the wedding of Ann Marie and Anthony. This was a private wedding so we won't be showing any photos. However, we just wanted to wish the two of you all the best and many happy years of marriage together! Congratulations, the two of you looked great!
On Saturday, Josh and I photographed Meyling and Eddie's wedding at the Aqua Turf. After photographing their engagement session the day before, I was more excited than ever to do their wedding. We had such an amazing day with the two of them and their friends and family. I have a lot of images that I want to show from this wedding, so I am going to keep this short. But I just have to say what an honor and privilege it was to be a part of your wedding. Meyling and Eddie, you guys are the best, and we wish you many years of happiness together. We hope you love your images! Meyling's uncle performed the ceremony. It was his first marriage!
Off to Elizabeth Park for the first set of photos! A toast to Eddie! And a toast to Meyling! Eddie: you make a pretty good photographer!
We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 9 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. Each couple has their own way of making their love wonderful and unique. It is extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.
Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence.
