Tricia and Chris

Josh and I just got home from spending an awesome day in NYC shooting all over the city. It was freezing, but Tricia and Chris did amazing. They are getting married this May and having their reception at Tower Ridge Country Club, in Simsbury. Here are a few of my favorite images. Enjoy!

We're back!

We had an amazing time in Dominican, and can't wait to go back again next year! But now it is time to get back to reality, but it's really not that bad. We missed our kids a lot, and have some very exciting new business changes to get to. We are both well rested and looking forward to an amazing year! This year is going to be our best year yet, and we are so honored to be working with some truly amazing clients.

Just wanted to say a quick goodbye to everyone! We are off to La Romana, D.R. We will be back to work on the 21st. It's been a long month...

Sorry it has been so long since my last blog....life is so busy! Certain people just can't take it easy on me :) Anyway, I've been very busy with kids home from school, booking more weddings, designing a lot of albums, not to mention dealing with holiday deadlines, and getting ready for our vacation!!!! Oh yeah, it was also our first anniversary yesterday! We had the most amazing date Saturday evening, including a wonderful dinner at Grants in West Hartford. Anyone that hasn't been there yet needs to get there a.s.a.p.! So I thought that I would share with all of you some of my favorite photos from our wedding last Jan. 6th. The very talented R.E. was our photographer, and we could not have asked for anyone more talented than him! We also couldn't ask for any better weather, do any of you remember that it was 72 degrees a year ago? Enjoy our beautiful images (probably more than you would like to see) Josh and I were able to have so many great images of just the two of us because we saw each other before the wedding for about two hours. Leanne and Patrick

Last evening Josh and I had the privilege of meeting with Leanne and Patrick to discuss their wedding for next year. They are a very sweet couple with a great vision for their wedding day. We would love to be a part of it all and truly hope that they pick us as their photographers!

Changes...

So finally, after about 8 years of having basically the same hair cut, I took a big chance and cut off about 8 inches. It feels good to make such a big change. Thanks to my great friend Tiffney for doing this for me!

Day off

A couple days ago Josh and I took some time off to go exploring the new (sort of) Blue Back Square shopping area in West Hartford. There are a lot of nice shops there including the National Jean Company and White House/ Black Market, which cloths I love! While we were in West Hartford we stopped in at Beckers, which is where Josh bought me my engagement ring. Oh my God!, what beautiful jewelry they have there! They gave my ring a full inspection as well as a cleaning. Everything was perfect! They recommend that the ring be inspected at least every 4 months, but this is actually only the second time in the year and a half that I have had it professionally inspected by them. Do all you other ladies get your rings inspected that often? Here is my ring all nice and shiny!

First sleep over

Sunday night Josh, Juliet and I were at a party at our good friends' house. As you all know we got hit with a really bad ice storm, so we decided to stay the night. This was Juliet's first sleep over at a friend's house. Here are some really cute pictures from the next morning!
