Karen and Marc, July 12th!

Karen and Marc absolutely paid the most attention to details at their wedding so far this year. They really took their color scheme, black and pink, to its limit. (This is actually my third wedding this year with these colors). Water bottles, bridesmaids, bouquets, cake, invitations, programs, menus, guest book, Team shirts, center pieces, place cards, table cloths, chair wraps, welcome boxes and more all, had the pink and black "Karen and Marc" theme to them.
This couple was so sweet and laid back, really making for a wonderful day at the Waterview in Monroe. However, even the most prepared of couples can have something go wrong at their wedding, their best man actually forgot the rings! This is our fist time in all these years of photographing weddings that this actually happened! Luckily, they were just in the bridal suite, so he was able to run over and get them, and then the wedding continued smoothly.
Marc and Karen: We wish you the best of luck with the rest of your marriage, and are so honored to be apart of the beginning of this new chapter for you!
























Karen surprised Marc with three grooms cakes, all decorated with his favorite sports teams on top. Marc works for ESPN, and Karen had prepared me that there would be a "local celebrity" at the wedding. Some of you may recognize the tall man in the photo.

Kate and Andy, July 4th!

It's never a good sign when the bride is crying at her wedding. It's especially not fun when she's walking toward me, the photographer, with big tears running down her face. Thankfully they were tears of joy and accompanied with a big hug! Kate had just been called over by one of her guests to come and look at the slide show that Josh and I had put together at their reception. (We love to do slide shows, and they have now become standard at every wedding). Kate- we are so happy that you love your photos as much as you do, we were so honored to be able to create them for you!
Kate and Andy got married at a quiet little church in Wakefield, and had their reception at The Towers in Narragansett, RI. Everything was very "New England" and they even had a Trolley drive them all around, not a limo. Check out these highlights:

Juliana and Ken

Many thanks to Rachel for sending her friend Juliana our way! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding next June. Juliana and Ken are going to be a perfect match for Josh and I as they want to do their photos together before the ceremony in downtown New Haven. Josh and I did our photos before our ceremony and would recommend it to anyone! It is so special, romantic and there is no pressure from any onlookers! Congratulations on your engagement!

Scott and Martha!

Josh and I first met Scott a year and a half ago in Punta Cana on our honeymoon. After kicking butt at water polo we chilled out together at the swim up bar. Scott was with his friend Eric having a guys vacation. After finding out that we were all from CT we decided to swap contact info. Out of the blue I get an email from Scott 6 months ago telling me that he met the woman of his dreams and was going to marry her! Of course I would be their photographer! Martha is from Mexico and is one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Here are some photos from their wedding in Norwalk at the Gallagher Estate yesterday:
