Welcome Isabella!

On Wednesday good friends of ours, Sandro and Tiffney, had their second daughter! We were very excited to go visit them Wednesday night, and then, when Juliet and I went back on Friday, I brought my camera. Here are a few pictures of Isabella Marie, 2 days old. Isn't she beautiful?

Blog Stalking!

I follow way to many wedding planning blogs to keep them to myself. So I thought I would tell you (my wedding planning clients) about them so that you can also satisfy your addictions. Two of the sites that I like are:
1. www.oncewed.com
This is a great site to see beautiful photos from other weddings for major inspiration as well as an amazing site to find a "gently used" wedding dress.
2. www.weddingbee.com
This site is perfect for satisfying all of your DIY desires.
Have fun with those!

Great Oma and Opa

I had the fun pleasure of restoring an old photo for my grandmother (Oma, as we say in German) this week. She had an old photo of her parents that she wanted to make copies of for all of her children and grandchildren, so I gladly helped her out with this. My "Great Oma" never knew any of her grandchildren, not to mention great grandchildren, so this is going to be a very special gift for everyone.
I haven't done much restoration work since my year in college, so I was a bit nervous. This photo had many spots, wrinkles, cracks and even some mold growing on it. But I am very happy with the way it came out. Anyone else working on photo projects for family this season?

A new sample album!

I get so excited every time UPS rings my doorbell and gives me a new box. I've been receiving a lot of packages lately, but most are albums for my clients. However... just the other day I got a box JUST FOR ME! WOOHOO! Introducing my newest addition to my sample album family:

This album is made by my lab: WHCC

Featuring lay-flat technology:

The books are available in seven different sizes and shapes including horizontal, vertical and square. As well as seven cover materials, including the custom printed photo cover as seen here.

Inside pages are printed on either 100# test weight semi-gloss paper or 110# semi-gloss hinged paper as seen here. It can also be UV coated.

This sample album is an 8.5"x11" and has 13 pages/ 26 sides. I will be recommending this album to be used as an Engagement Book/ Photo-Personalized Guest Book.

Ahh...the little things in life...

Kate and Andy's wedding album.

Here are the page layouts from another recent album design. Enjoy!

It's been a while...

I just realized that it has been almost a month since my last post and I want to apologize for that. The past few weeks have been some of the hardest times for Josh and I. His son, Caleb's condition has really taken a turn for the worst, and he has been in 3 different hospitals for quite a while now. First in Hartford at CCMC and then up in Boston, and now in St. Francis. So that has pretty much taken over our lives, thus the lack of blogging. So I just wanted to update everyone that we are still here, and still working, just a little quieter. Thank you so much to everyone that has been concerned and we really appreciate all of your love and support.
