Kristal and John, August 9th!

It was great photographing Kristal and John's wedding on the 9th. They were another fantastic couple that looked amazing and made our job SO easy! I love when a bride does her own hair and makeup, I think it makes it much more special. It is really helpful when a bride and a few of her bridesmaids are hairdressers too.
After getting ready at the Trumbull Marriott, we went to the Huntington United Methodist Church in Shelton. Kristal's grandfather did an amazing job conducting the emotional ceremony. We did the formals at Boothe Memorial Park in Stratford, and then off to the Farmington Club for the reception.

Randi and Nick, August 1st!

Randi and Nick had one of the most beautiful days this year for their wedding. Josh and I could not have asked for anything better, the greatest couple, wonderful family and friends, an amazing church (Asylum Hill Congregational Church), and to top it all off, the amazing Marcin of Digital Ink Studio doing the video.

After starting out with Nick and the rest of the guys, I headed over to Randi's house to do her getting ready photos. Since we had some extra time, I suggested heading down to a field of sunflowers that I had passed on the way to her house. Randi fully trusted me and was game for anything! I love when a bride trusts me and is willing to do things that she may never have thought of. Especially when it means that there is a slight chance that her dress may get dirty and the ceremony hasn't even begun yet. Randi and Nick, thank you so much for trusting in us! Kelly and Greg, July 26th!

After getting to know Kelly and Greg well after their e-shoot in Newport, Josh and I were really looking forward to their wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport on July 26th. Both Kelly and Greg had the nicest, most welcoming families we've been with in a long time. They also had the absolute best band from Boston that we've ever heard. The bands name is Night Rhythm , and they are excellent, anyone in need of a band needs to check them out!
