Family fun!

So after shooting an engagement session at Northwest Park a couple of months back, I decided that my family had to come back for some fun ourselves. The park is very beautiful, with old barns, a petting zoo and a very fun playground. So I brought along my 50 1.4 and had some fun shooting everyone playing together.

Nicole and Tony - Engaged!

Nicole and Tony were finally able to have their engagement session yesterday after many rescheduled appointments. It was a freezing cold day, but totally worth the wait! They are such a fun-loving, easygoing couple, and a blast to be around! We did most of their photos around Old Wethersfield, but also had to make a quick stop at another location, one that has person meaning to the two of them :) Thanks again to Larissa for doing Nicole's hair and makeup! Kate and George - Engaged!

Last weekend Josh and I made the short trip up to Boston to shoot Kate and George's engagement session. Since they lived out of state, we hadn't ever met them before, but just from the couple of quick phone calls and emails, we knew that they were going to be a lot of fun to photograph! And Kate made us a super special mixed CD to listen to on the ride up, how cool is that!? We didn't have much sunlight to work with, but it is always a fun challenge for us to be in a new location, shooting at a time of the day that we don't normally shoot at.
